Training Plans

A well thought out training plan is crucial in helping you achieve your goals.

The most important place to start is with a goal setting session and talking through your hours of availability to train – this sets the direction and framework of your training plan. We then measure your baseline fitness to create training zones and track improvements. We use basic FTP (functional threshold power) tests for the Foundation Plan and a full Power Profile test in the Performance Plan. Using the data and discussions, we will create a Yearly Training Plan (YTP) to maximize your improvements. We will focus on not only physiological traits, but also technical, tactical and mental skills.

We will use Training Peaks online software for programming workouts, analyzing data and creating our communication pathway. Other software such as WKO5 and Golden Cheetah are also used in the back end to dive deeper into your physiology and track your training impact.

Equipment expectations vary based on your goals. All athletes are required to have a heart rate monitor and while not necessary, power meters are encouraged. Outdoor training can be completed year-round with proper gear and an indoor cycling trainer can be helpful for short or specific winter workouts.

Foundation Plan

The Foundation Plan is focused on your event goals or individual improvements. We’ll map out your season and build a plan with key workouts to ensure you’re ready to crush your goals.

$200/month

– Month-by-month training plan tailored specifically to your goals and schedule
– 2x per month email communication
– 1x per month phone communication
– 1x per month training plan adjustments
– 2x per year FTP testing

Performance Plan

The Performance Plan is perfect for targeting a big goal. Includes detailed workout analysis and feedback to maximize your improvements.


$300/month

Includes:
– Training Peaks Premium
– Week-by-week training plan tailored specifically to your goals and schedule
– Unlimited email / text / phone communication
– Unlimited training plan adjustments
– Daily workout analysis and feedback when required
– 2x per year FTP testing
– 2x per year power profile test
